Vitamine E is een in vet oplosbare vitamine die voorkomt in verschillende vormen, waarvan alfa-tocoferol de meest biologisch actieve is. Deze vitamine ondersteunt verschillende functies in het lichaam en is te vinden in diverse voedingsbronnen zoalsnoten, zaden en plantaardige oliën.
